Ground Floor: Fluid+ Queer Social Club
Envisioned as a not-for-profit, this centre celebrates the 2Slbtq+ community by providing environments fostering safety, diversity, freedom of expression, and social connection. I wanted the interiors to be bold and edgy - loosely referential of Studio 54 and the 70's. Named Fluid+, as a nod to gender and sexual fluidity is expressed through the soft, sinuous forms of the furniture, lighting and cafe floor tile; while lipstick and eyeshadow shades inspired the colour palettes. Gallery walls feature local queer artists and queer history through B&W photography.
